Six races in the space of eight weeks. The end of the 2024 MotoGP calendar is truly frenetic and will decide a World Championship that has been very hard-fought so far. With Enea Bastianini’s success in Misano, the first of two triplets has opened up, which will now require a very long transoceanic journey to reach the island of Lombok, where the Mandalika circuit will host the Indonesian Grand Prix.
The second round on the circuit named after Marco Simoncelli, the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, has once again opened the gap between the two contenders for the title. If on Saturday Pecco Bagnaia had forcefully taken the Sprint, closing the gap to Jorge Martin to just 4 points, on Sunday “Martinator” extended his lead with a controversial second place, taking advantage of a bad day for the reigning world champion.
The Piedmontese, in fact, had to deal with a tire that started to work as expected only after 15 laps, when he was too far away to go hunting for victory. And in an attempt to get closer he then fell, taking another heavy zero, which made him fall to -24.
As mentioned, Martin saw his chance to score a Sunday win that he hasn’t had since Le Mans slip away on the last lap. The Prima Pramac Racing rider complained about Bastianini’s decisive entry, but Race Direction considered it a normal race overtaking, certifying the Rimini rider’s success, which was also Ducati’s 100th in MotoGP and gave them their fifth consecutive Constructors’ title.
And here another curious thing must be highlighted: if Martin has not won the long race since the French GP, even Bagnaia has won only once in the last five outings. After the summer break, in fact, the aforementioned Bastianini and Marc Marquez have shared two victories each, who therefore seem to be ready to act as referees in this final rush.
Below, you will find the complete Mandalika weekend schedule, as well as the TV schedule and Motorsport.com LIVE schedule, all in Italian time, of course.

MotoGP 2024: Discover the Mandalika Circuit
The Mandalika circuit is one of the newcomers to the MotoGP World Championship. The circuit, located on the island of Lombok, joined the premier class calendar in 2022 and the World Superbike championship a year earlier, in 2021. Despite its name containing the word “street”, it is a permanent circuit, marking Indonesia’s return to the calendar after its last appearance in 1997.
In Mandalika, the race distances will be the same as Misano for the San Marino and Emilia Romagna Grands Prix in terms of laps. The long MotoGP race on Sunday 29 September will be 27 laps, while the Sprint on Saturday will be 13. In addition, in Moto2 there will be 22 laps and in Moto3 20 in total.
