The MotoGP World Championship lands in Australia after an intense Asian tour. On the Phillip Island circuit the fight will continue between the Spanish Jorge Martín and the Italian Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia, who are only 10 points apart for the lead, which is currently held by the Madrid native.
The championship is tighter than ever: there are only four races left to play and the equality between both drivers is maximum. Bagnaia gave him even more excitement if possible by winning in Japan and cutting 11 points from Martín who is still the leader of the championship.
“This is the most important part of the season, there is little left and there have been some parts of the season in which ‘Pecco’ was closer, but the important thing is to arrive in Valencia with options, now there are three races left in which mistakes can weigh quite a bit, so you have to stay focused at all times,” Martín predicts.

Regarding the Phillip Island circuit, he maintains that it is a “fantastic track and one of the most beautiful to drive”: “I would like to win, but we have to think about the world championship, but there is no doubt that if I have the opportunity, I will try win here for the first time.”
