The “mood” at home Aprilia it is undoubtedly positive. The consistency of results is rewarding the work of the Italian manufacturer on the new RS-GP, of which Aleix Espargarò is exploiting the potential in the best possible way. Like any innovative project, there is still room to refine and evolve a technical package that has already proved competitive: an activity that continues to see the Aprilia racing department busy on all fronts.
Aleix Espargarò: “The summer break was certainly very useful to regain the energy, physical and mental, necessary in a competitive championship like the current MotoGP. The second part of the season will be important for us, we must confirm the positive trend shown to date and look for a further step forward. The Austrian track is perhaps not the one that most rewards the characteristics of our package, but it must also be said that the 2021 RS-GP is showing good adaptability to different conditions. We will wait for the first tests to analyze our level ”.
Lorenzo Savadori: “This is one of the tracks that I know least, having only raced there in 2019 with the MotoE, therefore an extremely different category. I will have to recalibrate my parameters to make the most of the RS-GP. I really want to get back on the saddle, during the break I tried to work on many aspects to be ready for this second part of the season ”.
