The 2023 season will mark a turning point for the MotoE. This afternoon, in fact, Dorna Sports and Energica Motor Company announced that 2022 will be the last year of the collaboration that allowed to give life to the World Cup for electric motorcycles.
The Italian company has been the sole supplier of the MotoE since its launch in the 2019 season. 2022 will therefore represent the last chapter of a journey that lasted four years, in which it was possible to witness an evolution both from a technological point of view than performance.
The Energica Ego Corsa has proven to be fast, extremely reliable and well appreciated by the riders who took part in the championship, and will undoubtedly continue to impress in the next season, before the collaboration between Energica and MotoE ends.
The work carried out both on the track and in the company’s headquarters has seen constant innovation and new solutions that have managed to bring MotoE to the incredible level it is now at, with Energica demonstrating an ability to react quickly to challenges. and to the various technical requests in record time.
The joint effort between all parties was the key to developing a competition that will now enter a new era built on a foundation that all parties involved can be proud to have built together.
