The 2022 season of the World Championship has opened on the Lusail track, in Qatar. The first race scheduled, as per tradition, was that of the Moto3 which did not skimp on emotions and above all surprises. The dominator for half the race was the Japanese Ayumu Sasaki, started from pole position after the rain of penalties imposed this morning and very good at taking a breakaway from the first lap. The driver of the team led by Max Biaggi stretched relentlessly lap after lap, but then had to give up when he had a three second advantage: to stop him a problem with the hull that forced him to slow down and, subsequently , withdrawal.
The race has unraveled for @ AyumuSasaki1! 😢

The whole group of pursuers, led by Andrea Migno. And the Italian of the Snipers team was just the best, keeping in front from the moment he found himself in first position up to the checkered flag, despite the constant attacks by the opponents. The arrival in the sprint was thrilling, with the Italian who for a few millimeters was able to resist the ascent of Sergio Garcia. Third place for Kaito Toba, which adjusted the other components of the head package. On the other hand, a day to forget for some big names in the category, at least in the forecast on the eve: out of Suzuki, who crashed taking Fellon with him, and also Masia, who slipped alone. Honorable seventh place instead for Dennis Foggia, started from the back of the group after the many penalties received.
A moment of magic from @ M16NO! 👏👏👏
