Moto Morini comes with the Seiemmezzo STR and SCR, a naked and a scrambler respectively. The pair should be at the dealers in September.
Both engines are of course built around the same platform. The 649cc parallel twin is good for 61 hp at 8,250 rpm and 54 Nm at 7,000 rpm. At the front is a 43 mm UPSD Kayaba in charge, behind is a monoshock of the same brand. The suspension is adjustable in terms of spring preload, compression and rebound damping at the front and rear.
Brembo handles the brakes: twin 298mm discs with two-piston floating calipers at the front, a single 255mm disc with two-piston caliper at the rear; the ABS comes from Bosch. Both the Seiemmezzo SCR and the Seiemmezzo STR weigh 200 kg dry and have a tank capacity of 16 liters.
From the saddle (810 mm) you look out over a 5” TFT color display with integrated Bluetooth communication system. The control buttons on the steering wheel are illuminated. All-round LED lighting completes the standard equipment.
The Seiemmezzo SCR differs from the naked STR with a pronounced vintage scrambler look including a high mudguard, flyscreen, different saddle and a gold-coloured fork. The Seiemmezzo SCR gets spoke wheels shod with Pirelli MT60RS, while the STR combines alloy wheels with Pirelli Angel GTs; both engines are at 18” front and 17” rear.
Both the Seiemmezzo SCR and the STR are available in a 35 kW version (A2). Both models come in different colors: Starlight White, Fire Red and Smoky Anthracite for the Seiemmezzo STR; Navy Green and Night Black for the Seiemmezzo SCR. Prices have not yet been announced.
