Boy, time flies. We say this because this 2021 will be celebrating 30 years of Mortal Kombat, well, they actually run until 2022 but Ed boon, co-creator of NetherRealm Studios, He started working on the first game in the series in 1991, so he decided to get ahead of the festivities.
Boon is someone who is very active in Twitter, so to celebrate 30 years of this franchise, he decided to share with us a behind-the-scenes look for the first Mortal Kombat.

You will remember that all the character movements in the first Mortal Kombat They were recorded by real people, as shown Boon in the short video above. From there, the saga had an important evolution that allowed it to remain relevant to this day, and that it continues to be one of the most important fighting sagas in the industry.
Editor’s note: It’s always interesting when we get these little behind-the-scenes glimpses of our favorite games. Being a franchise with so much history, Mortal Kombat It has always lent itself very well for this type of demonstration, and it is incredible how much the saga has evolved in terms of its graphics and gameplay.
