Is the second time the best?
As you may have read in our review of Mortal Kombat, the film produced by Warner Bros. he was able to bring ultra-violent action and video game atmospheres to the big screenwithout disappointing spectators’ expectations from this point of view.
At the same time, however, the film was exposed to a whole series of important critical issues linked precisely to the plot: a banal and obvious protagonist, terrible dialogues, poorly characterized characters and some questionable narrative solutions.
Is Jeremy Slater’s hiring therefore linked to the desire to straighten out these distortions? We’ll find out in the fall of next year.
