NetherRealm has revealed the next fighter to join the roster of Mortal Kombat 1. It's about Ermac and will be available starting from April 16 in early access for those who have purchased the Kombat Pack and starting from April 23rd for all players at the price of 7.99 euros. He will be followed in May by kameo fighter Mavado. Ermac's arrival was announced via a gameplay trailer that offers us a taste of his fighting style, which you can find in the player below.
Ermac is a ninja capable of using telekinesis to get the better of his opponents. He officially appeared for the first time in the series in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, but upon closer inspection his origins date back to the very first chapter of the series. In the game some users had spotted what they thought was a mysterious bonus fighter called “Ermac”, but in reality it was just a bug, with the name being short for “Error Macro”. The developers joked about this misunderstanding for a long time, giving life to a real character several years later.
The other DLC characters
As mentioned at the beginning, Peacemaker is part of the Character Pass 1 of Mortal Kombat 1 sold at the price of 39.99 euros, which includes early access to various DLC characters, with the list also including Peacemaker, Patriot (The Boys), Takahashi Takeda, Quan Chi and Omni-Man (Invincible) , as well as supporting Kameo Kombats Tremor, Mavado, Johnny Cage, and Ferra.
If desired, you can purchase each character individually for 7.99 euros and the Kameo ones for 4.99.
