Morocco recently announced that it will require a certificate of receipt of the Covid-19 vaccine in order to enter public places and move between cities, after most of the country’s adult population has been vaccinated.
So far, 21 million of the population of 36 million have received two doses of the vaccine, and Morocco has begun a program to receive a third dose.
And earlier, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection in Morocco said that the possibility of a new wave of the “Covid-19” epidemic remains, despite the progress made in the national vaccination campaign.
The ministry stated, in a statement, that the possibility of an increase in cases remains, given the decisions to reduce collective precautionary measures through the night ban starting from eleven o’clock instead of nine o’clock at night and allowing the resumption of all economic and social activities.
The Ministry called on citizens to engage in maintaining the continuous improvement of the epidemiological situation of Covid-19, through three basic rules represented in engaging in the national vaccination process and expediting the taking of doses that would protect citizens from dangerous and critical cases, and respecting preventive and precautionary measures.
