The British brand Morgan has appointed a new CEO. It is about Massimo Fumarolaformerly a member of the board of directors Lamborghini and also chief project management officer of the Sant’Agata Bolognese company. In addition, there was also the appointment of Steve Morris as executive chairman of the auto company: he was the CEO in the past, and the move was therefore advanced to ‘strengthen’ the management.
Fumarole said he has long admired Morgan’s cars, and to confirm his full adherence to the cause, he moved to Malvern, UK, a short distance from the brand’s factory. With him Morgan will have to face the strategic growth of his businesses, guiding the development of new products such as the recent one Morgan Super 3 and keeping an eye out for the process electrification, now inevitable. Morgan, meanwhile, has a new injection of Italian character: Fumarola’s arrival comes after Investindustrial had acquired a majority stake from the Morgan family in 2019. Investindustrial has recently confirmed its investments also in Rimac, remaining fully entitled in the automotive world.
“Morgan has a great reputation: for its long history, for the unique style, for the great artisan wealth. As a sports car lover, it is a great honor for me to work for Morgan and to expand his business. When I was young, a neighbor of mine bought a Morgan, and I don’t deny that I dreamed of driving one one day. For me, Morgan is the ideal combination of driving dynamics, ultralight and functional design, quality finish and bold engineering. We are not just talking about performance, but about an authentic, unconventional and exciting driving experience. I can’t wait to get to work with our team and dealers to promote this unique brandFumarola said according to a press release from the auto company.
