Guadalajara Jalisco.- The Mayor of Guadalajara, Paul Lemusfaces a civil lawsuit for alleged moral damage.
The Second Court in Civil Matters admitted the complaint filed by councilor Carlos Lomelí against the Prime Edil of Guadalajara, who assured that the brunette had extorted him in exchange for approving the rental of patrol cars.
“Jesus Pablo Lemus Navarro is considered a defendant for the concepts and other benefits that emerge from his statement of account; demand that being adjusted (in law in terms of its form) is admitted in ordinary civil proceedings,” it was stated. read in file 41/2022, of which Grupo REFORMA has a copy.
The The mayor has already been summoned to go to the judgment. He has eight working days so that, if he wishes, he can answer the accusations.
“Under the warning that if he does not do so, he will be presumptively confessed to the facts immersed in the lawsuit, following the trial in his rebellion,” the file states.
The parties to the trial were notified on January 27, so they have until February 10 to present evidence and answer the complaint.
On January 17, Carlos Lomeli presented a civil lawsuit against the Mayor after he publicly accused him of wanting to extort with the regularization of some warehouses in exchange for approving the budget and the lease of 290 patrol cars.
