Over 600 physiotherapists, dentists, podiatrists or speech therapists, among other professionals from private clinics in Health Area III who have direct contact with patients, will be vaccinated on Friday and Saturday against the coronavirus at the Felipe VI sports complex.
The head of Public Health of Health Area III, Visitación García, described this Tuesday as “excellent” the response of these professionals to the vaccination campaign and stressed that there are already 500 registered but many more are expected. The mayor, Diego José Mateos, explained that these municipal offices have been chosen for their good accessibility and because they have ample parking.
The requests They must be formalized in the computerized register provided by the Ministry of Health before 12 noon on Wednesday morning. It is an essential requirement to provide the identity card and the last payroll or employment contract on the day of the vaccination to justify the job.
García remarked that in this phase of the vaccination, the personnel of pharmacies or opticians do not enter, neither firemen, members of Civil Protection or police. He also reported that this Tuesday the professionals of the Virgen del Alcázar private clinic began to be vaccinated and showed his satisfaction because 95% of the staff gave their consent for it.
