“More than 4.5 million children rested in health camps, which is 1.2 million more than in the previous year. Earlier that day, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the unreasonable re-profiling of children’s recreation camps unacceptable. According to him, you need to understand and know exactly what is happening in these institutions or organizations, and do everything to ensure the safety of children.
On August 11, it became known that 97.4% of children rested in health camps in the Leningrad Region in two shifts. At the same time, unscheduled inspections were carried out in 349 summer recreation establishments. The most common violations were non-compliance with the operating regime of organizations.
On April 21, in a message to the Federal Assembly, the head of state proposed subsidizing half of the cost of vouchers to children’s summer camps in 2021, thus making children’s health recreation as affordable as possible.
On May 25, a cashback program for vouchers purchased to children’s camps started in Russia. Parents can buy vouchers to camps throughout the country and receive an automatic refund to the Mir card within five days.
