More than 30,000 people will enjoy the Fan Futura Fest in San Javier from July 26 to 31

There are barely six days left before the Fan Futura Fest festival returns in a large format to San Javier from July 26 to 31. Due to the restrictions, in 2021 it was held in a smaller way, but this year without capacity limitation, its organizers hope to receive the assistance of more than 30,000 people.

Over six days, at the municipal sports center and on the main stages, the performance of more than 60 outstanding artists from the national and international scene is planned, such as Steve Aoki, Bizarrap, Eladio Carrión, Snow Tha Product, Andrea Oliva, Andrés Campo, Chelina Manhutu, Technasia, Califato ¾ or Cruz Cafuné, among others.

In the presentation of the festival, which has the sustainability certificate, the Minister of the Presidency, Tourism, Culture and Sports, Marcos Ortuño, remarked that the Fan Futura Fest represents a “new impulse for the tourism sector, an appointment with which we return to enjoy live music and in a big way».

In addition, Ortuño highlighted “the positive impact that it will have on the economy of the municipality and its surroundings, which is estimated at around 3.5 million euros, which will have a direct impact on its hotels, restaurants and shops”, and pointed out that the Fan Futura “contributes to making San Javier ‘more music’ and consolidating its position within culture and live music on the national scene.”

As an example of the economic impact of festival tourism, the councilor recalled that “in 2019, 210,000 tourists visited the Region for this reason, who spent more than 24 million euros”, that is, 15% of the tourists who arrived.

The concerts, which are held in the San Javier sports center as the main venue, are complemented by a series of free performances that will take place on the esplanade of Barnuevo, where you can enjoy the music of The Parrots, Belter Souls, Don Fluor, Johnny’s Drama, REM Djs, The Hisunz, Barder, Paranoid 1966, Fat Gordon, Ruto Neón and Second DJ Set. Sports will be added to the musical offer in this same enclave, which will have its leading role during the mornings of Thursday, Friday and Saturday with activities such as beach volleyball, beach soccer, canoeing or dragon boating.
