The device of the Ministry in 26 municipalities performs 17,203 antigen tests and diagnoses 489 new cases
The mobile vaccination points against the coronavirus of the Ministry of Health, arranged in 26 municipalities, gave a new impetus to vaccination last Thursday with the administration of 3,039 first doses against Covid. In addition, they were used to detect 489 positives with the performance of 17,203 antigen tests.
The municipalities that had one of these points were Águilas, Alcantarilla, Alhama de Murcia, Archena, Caravaca de la Cruz, Cartagena, Cehegín, Cieza, Jumilla, Las Torres de Cotillas, Lorca, Mazarrón, Molina de Segura, Mula, Murcia, Puerto Lumbreras, San Javier, Torre Pacheco, Totana, Yecla, Abanilla, Abarán, Bullas, Fortuna, Santomera and San Pedro del Pinatar.
The experience will be repeated on December 30, when Salud will install the mobile points in these same towns with the exception of Santomera, San Pedro del Pinatar, Fortuna, Abanilla, Abarán and Bullas, and with the inclusion of six new ones: Calasparra, Moratalla, Beniel, La Unión, Los Alcázares and Fuente Álamo, in the afternoon.
By municipalities, the Murcia point carried out 1,390 tests, of which 47 were positive, and administered 267 doses of the vaccine. In Cartagena, of 910 tests, 28 corresponded to infected neighbors, and 615 people received the immunization.
In Lorca, 824 tests were carried out, 36 of them positive, and 102 citizens were immunized; In Molina de Segura, 652 tests were carried out with 20 positives and there were 95 vaccinated; in Jumilla there were 562 tests, with 25 positives, and 110 vaccinated; and in San Javier, the 721 tests left 20 positive. In the latter municipality, 125 first doses were given.
