The Department of the Notary Public in Ras Al Khaimah Courts achieved an upward growth in the number of transactions completed for the public during the past year 2021, which amounted to 26,886 transactions, compared to 25,425 transactions in the year 2020, recording an increase in the volume of submitted transactions.
Counselor Ahmed Muhammad Al Khatri, Head of the Ras Al Khaimah Courts Department, stressed that the department is keen to provide distinguished services to improve the experience of customers, enhance the quality of life and achieve happiness for them, by developing services and converting them to electronic and smart, and adopting a package of initiatives to facilitate procedures for obtaining the service in easy and flexible ways, such as services WhatsApp, the adoption of the video calling program, the expansion of the number of service centers, and the provision of remote services, indicating that the efforts made by the work teams in the department to overcome the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, and follow the rapid response plan, contributed to business continuity and increased the number of completed transactions.
He pointed out that the Notary Public Department completed 26,886 transactions, and received 11,027 inquiries through various digital channels, bringing the total number of services provided to 37,913 services and transactions during 2021. March recorded the highest number of services and transactions that amounted to 3,958 services, followed by September with 3530 services.
Al Khatri explained that the department worked to open branches during the past year throughout the emirate to provide all the services of the notary without exception. And south of it and the city center, in addition to the main headquarters, including the Customer Happiness Center in Wadi Asfni, the municipality department branch, and the Tas’heel center in the Rams and Al-Juwais areas, in order to provide the finest services to customers, in several locations in the emirate, and to save time and effort incurred by the customer to obtain The service, pointing out that the notary public branch in the Al-Juwais Tashel Center topped the other branches in the number of completed transactions by 31%, followed by the Student Tas’heel Center with 23%.
He added that the timings for providing the services of the Notary Public Administration at the headquarters are from Monday to Friday over 15 hours a day, in the morning and evening shifts, and on Sunday for 4 hours, so that the notary public provides his services on all days of the week except Saturday, and in Branches, so the working days are from Monday to Friday for 8 hours.
He stated that the department provides 55 types of main and subsidiary notary services, including agencies, forensic notifications, contracts, declarations, pledges and other requests, where the most requested transactions were agencies, which accounted for 49% of the total transactions, followed by notifications by 18.05%.
