Ciudad Juarez.- The “Together we improve your home” program, managed by the State Commission for Housing, Land and Infrastructure (Coesvi), benefited more than 100 families by providing loans for construction materials, reported Oscar Lozoya, delegate of the agency in Ciudad Juarez.
In total, the agency has distributed more than 300 thousand pesos in support of the improvement and expansion of homes in the region. This program aims to facilitate access to essential materials for the construction, expansion or improvement of properties, through loans that can reach up to 30 thousand pesos per applicant. Beneficiaries only need to make a down payment of 15 percent of the total amount of the loan, while the remaining balance is paid within 18 months without interest, which represents an accessible financial option for those who want to improve their homes without assuming an excessive financial burden. Lozoya said that the program is part of the state administration’s commitment to support vulnerable groups and meet their basic needs. The materials offered include sheet metal, cement, paint and waterproofing, which are essential for the maintenance and improvement of homes. Among these, cement has been the most requested material, reflecting its importance in construction and repair projects. The requirements to access these loans are aimed at ensuring that applicants can meet the basic criteria for the allocation of funds. Interested parties must present the CURP, an official photo ID, and proof of address, property, and income. These documents are necessary to verify the eligibility of applicants and ensure that loans are granted to those who really need them. Juarenses who wish to take advantage of this program can go to the Coesvi offices located in the Pueblito Mexicano offices, at Abraham Lincoln Avenue #1320, Córdova Américas subdivision. They also have the option of visiting the offices located in the El Mezquital subdivision, Almendro Street 10150. In addition, they can contact Coesvi through the phone number 629-3300 ext. 55969 or send text or voice messages to WhatsApp (656) 554-8397 to obtain additional information or start the application process. The success of the “Juntos Mejoramos Tu Vivienda” program is not only measured by the number of families benefited, but also by the positive impact it has had on the quality of life of Ciudad Juárez residents, said Oscar Lozoya. By distributing more than 300 thousand pesos in loans, Coesvi has facilitated access to essential construction materials, thus supporting the improvement of homes and contributing to the well-being of the community.
