More than 10 billion rubles will be allocated in 2021 for vocational training and additional vocational education for certain categories of citizens. On July 26, journalists were informed about this in the secretariat of the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova.
The corresponding decision was made following a meeting of the interdepartmental working group on the restoration of the labor market.
“So, in 2021, vocational training and additional vocational education are planned for 168.8 thousand citizens. For these purposes, more than 10 billion rubles are allocated from the federal budget, ”the secretariat said.
Training activities are foreseen under the Demography project. It is noted that to date, about 100 thousand applications for training have been received, more than 16 thousand people have started training.
“Among those who started training, most of all are citizens of 50 years and older (36%), looking for work and applying to employment services (31%) and women on parental leave under the age of three years (19%)”, – added to the secretariat.
Earlier, on July 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the unemployment rate in Russia has almost returned to the indicators of 2019. The head of state added that he understands that “many people still face difficulties in finding a job.”
Prior to that, on June 30, Putin said that there was a tendency to decrease unemployment in Russia, the labor market issue was of fundamental importance for the state.
On June 22, it became known that the number of registered unemployed in Russia for the month decreased to 1.292 million people. At the same time, it was noted that the number of vacancies announced by employers to the employment services amounted to 2,134.25 thousand units.
