(Reuters) – The war in Ukraine will cause more death and destruction in the coming days, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Western military alliance secretary general Jens Stoltenberg said on Friday, while urging to Russian President Vladimir Putin to withdraw all troops from Ukraine without conditions.
“The next few days are likely to be worse, with more deaths, more suffering and more destruction,” Stoltenberg told reporters after a meeting between foreign ministers from alliance countries in Brussels.
