A new trailer for the movie Morbius is expected within a few hours, the November 2, 2021. Jared Leto he anticipated the publication on his Twitter profile, inviting viewers to meet the brilliant Michael Morbius and his alter-ego, 50 years after his debut in the world of comics. In the post, the actor said that a new trailer for the film, scheduled for January 28, 2022, is coming very soon.
However, the new trailer for Morbius has been leaked a day early, teasing fans’ imaginations about a possible connection with Spider-Man And Venom. Appearing on social media a few hours before the official release, the trailer lasts about a minute and delivers more points of view and looks on the monstrous character played by Jared Leto.
You can also see Michael Keaton in the role of Adrian Toomes and, in the final stages, Dr. Michael Morbius jokingly states to be Venom. There are also several scenes of the character engaged in fighting, as well as frames in which his is clearly visible face after transformation.
A trailer had previously been leaked, but Sony quickly took care of it removal, which is likely to happen to this new social media leak as well. Morbius follows the story of a doctor who transforms into a being like a vampire, after the unsuccessful attempt to cure his rare blood disease.
Created by Roy Thomas And Gil Kane, the character from the Marvel universe first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man No. 101, published in 1971. Originally a thief, Morbius has become a antihero, similar to what happened to Venom.
Part of Sony’s burgeoning Marvel movie list, Morbius was due to arrive in theaters on July 10, 2020. The film was postponed to July 31 before the Covid-19 pandemic caused another delay, first on 19 March 2021 and, subsequently, on 8 October 2021. Finally, the chain of postponements stopped at January 28, 2022 which, hopefully, will be the final release date.
