The haunted history of Marc Spector, or much better known as Moon Knight will be the protagonist of a new one TV series which presumably will air in the next few months on Disney +, and of which the first has arrived in the last hours teaser trailer. The full official video will instead be made available Monday 17th January, during next week’s NFL (American rugby) game.
The series is part of the fourth stage of the production of House of Ideas, which wants to give much more space to characters considered secondary up to now compared to canonical heroes such as Iron Man, Captain America and to deepen even more atypical and personal stories. Among these examples we have had Wanda Vision, Loki, Howkeye and many others.
Moon Knight will therefore add to the category of “Minor heroes”, which despite being partially less known than the main ones, still have a great expressive and artistic potential within their Cinecomics field, also thanks to the presence of important actors such as Oscar Isaac to represent them. In this specific case, the life of the character Marc Spector is one among the cruelest and most interesting of the MCU.
Initially called in Italy as Lunar, Moon Knight is a violent and brutal anti-hero endowed with special powers and superhuman strength and speed, especially according to the phases of the moon, and thanks to the help of the Egyptian god Khonshu, he is able to fully exploit them. The character of the “White knight” however, he became even more famous with the deepening of his multiple personalities.

Poor Spector has in fact been imagined over the years progressively as a tormented figure torn apart by four personalities who modify and characterize his life to the point of making him perform extreme actions. In the recesses of his mind, in fact, they fight relentlessly with Marc Spector, Steven Grant, Jake Lockley and the immaterial personification of the god Khonshu.
All personalities persecute him and look for a way to take control of the unfortunate Marc’s body, but at the same time support and guide him during the toughest battles with tips, strategies or with real unique powers.
So let’s talk about a externally complex and mature character, who makes sense of guilt and madness his main reason for existence, to the point of being able to win clashes with enemies even much stronger than him because, according to him, during the toughest battles it is so “Totally immersed in madness”, who fights like someone who has nothing to lose, like a beast without peace or rest.
Unfortunately, we do not know exactly which interpretation will be applied to the character in the next series with respect to the comics and other appearances, even if the characteristic of the folly, which you can observe in the tormented Moon Knight by Oscar Isaac (also famous for the film Dune) in the teaser trailer that we leave you at the bottom of this news.
