After an altercation against a creature in the museum where he works, the protagonist talks with Marc about his complicated situation. However, he decides to clear everything up in court and receive psychiatric treatment. He then meets Layla, Spector’s wife, who was unaware that they both shared the same body.
To his surprise, Harrow finds him and reveals that he too was an avatar of Khonshu, but states that he now serves Ammit. According to the villain, being the old ‘fist of revenge’ was no longer useful if the damage was done. However, he is unable to convince him to join him and hand over the scarab.
