September 12 is approaching, and with it the public. The Grand Prix of Monza, in fact, it is ready to embrace the spectators again, after the ‘silent’ edition of 2020 which saw Pierre Gasly triumph. The official announcement is missing, but the Temple of Speed should be open to the public, also because the decree-law approved on July 22 opens sports competitions to those with a Green Pass. This was confirmed by Giuseppe Redaelli, president of Sias (Società increment carismo e sport SpA), management company of the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, during the Motorist Festival, hosted right on the circuit.
Monza, hopefully 70-80% of the public
Monza with audience, La Russa (ACM): “Exciting”
“It is a matter of days and we will be able to say it officially: the public will return to the F1 Italian Grand Prix in Monza and tickets will be available shortly in the various orders. We also have the example of Silverstone with over 100 thousand people, while we are still in total uncertainty. I hope I can finally give start with the presale of tickets in the next few hours as is happening in all the other European circuits. However, we want to operate in maximum safety: the Green Pass is the sine qua non to be able to open. We ask for clarity on what can be done and what cannot be done: the ACI has spoken several times with the Government. We need a quick response in order to organize everything in the best possible way“, These are the words of Redaelli.
