Last November, the rumor that the popular plot was back on the air caused many to disbelieve. A month later, it was confirmed and it will come true this Wednesday, June 22 in its prime time, of course.
What encouraged you to put yourself in Charito’s shoes again?
In the conversations I had, it was always clear to me that the idea of returning to something, of going back to the past, would be to honor it and bring new things and not just repeat the previous. I could define my return to “In the background there is room” as a return to a place where we were all happy. I am grateful for this return and with myself for having renewed my vows.

Was something bothering you?
My first concern was, are we going back to the same thing? Now, one can return to places being someone different, someone better, with new experiences., living very similar things and that is also my job. Returning to a character is also very beautiful. One of the fantasies of the actors when you do a role that stays in the skin is to interpret it again.

Very high for ourselves, of course. Let’s see, how do you do it, where do you start from, resume and I think that when one returns to things with genuine affection, with sincere dedication and confidence that it is worth returning, things happen and that is a bit of the way to define not only my return but of the entire human group to this series.

And where are you going to take Charito back from, with what look?
“In the background there is room” brings archetypes. Charo it is the housewife who is dedicated to raising children, who is denied love, who is seen as little because she does not work outside the home. Those women exist. So, what my character did was a tribute to many women who were made invisible and looked like they didn’t produce. However, after a pandemic, things happened to all women and they also began to rethink their lives and I think that something will happen to the character as well.
I’m still the same person, but in this time I’ve experienced other things and I think I embrace this character again with the love and respect it deserves, like hugging the people you love or the experiences that gave you good memories, like it is honored in beautiful places, that is how I honor Charo, without giving it much head or reason, but putting my heart, because it is also a good opportunity to laugh again collectively, to laugh a little again now with this thing that has also happened to us as a country, to look again at the differences without judging knowing everything that we have had to live and knowing that the differences have divided us.
