The projects include the “Dubai Mountain Summit” and the “Hatta Sustainable Falls”. These projects will play an important role in promoting domestic tourism and the environmental sustainability of the region, by highlighting the importance of preserving the environment, benefiting from renewable energy sources and enhancing the quality of life for community members.

The “Dubai Mountain Summit” project includes the construction of a 5.4-kilometre cable car to transport tourists from the Hatta Dam area to the Umm Al Nsour summit in the Hatta region, the highest natural peak in the Emirate of Dubai, with an altitude of 1,300 meters above sea level.
The project will constitute an important tourist attraction in the United Arab Emirates, and the cable car route was chosen to pass over the Hatta Dam lake and the upper dam lake for the hydroelectric power station project implemented by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority in Hatta, passing through the mountain range until it reaches the top of Umm Al Nsour.
The project includes three main stations, including the departure station, which will be built on an upper platform above the Hatta Dam and linked to car parks using one of the advanced means of transportation, the intermediate stop, which contains a viewing platform and facilities to serve tourists, a luxury hotel that will be built according to the highest specifications and standards, and the summit station, which will include Panoramic viewing platform, facilities to cater to tourists and hotel suites belonging to the main hotel. The project will also include hiking trails in the mountains, up to Umm Al-Nisour summit, and recreational facilities, in addition to other services that provide a world-class tourist environment.
