Mohamed bin Zayed and the Prime Minister of India will hold a summit via video communication technology tomorrow

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the friendly Republic of India, will hold a summit, via video communication, on February 18, during which they will discuss bilateral cooperation paths and opportunities for its development and expansion. Its prospects… within the framework of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.

His Highness and the Prime Minister of India will also witness during the summit the signing ceremony of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the two countries, which will take place in New Delhi, which inaugurates a new era of economic cooperation based on mutual interests and enhances historical relations and mutual access to markets and economic and investment opportunities, in preparation for broader horizons of strategic cooperation. Between the two countries… in addition to signing a number of strategic agreements and memoranda of understanding in many vital fields.

It is noteworthy that the UAE is India’s third largest trading partner and accounts for 40% of its trade with Arab countries, while the economic partnership agreement is expected to increase bilateral non-oil trade to $100 billion annually within the next five years.

Relations between the UAE and India are witnessing rapid developments in light of the common concern to achieve mutual interests, especially with the exchange of official visits by the two sides at various levels. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan visited India in 2016 and 2017, while Narendra Modi visited the UAE The UAE in the years 2015, 2018 and 2019. The two countries had announced several months ago the launch of talks aimed at reaching a comprehensive economic partnership agreement, which was successfully completed by reaching the agreement.
