This Tuesday, August 23, the Boston Red Sox revealed that they made a couple of moves on their roster, going on the injured list of the Major League Baseball (MLB) to Nathan Eovaldi and Eric Hosmer.
According to MLB.com, Eovaldi was scheduled to start last Thursday, but his start had to be postponed due to pain in the trapezius muscleand after failing to improve, he went on the 15-day injury list with inflammation in his right shoulder.
On the other hand, Hosmer entered the 10-day injured list with back inflammation, so the team decided to be cautious with both players, not risk them, and do everything possible to get them healthy for the postseason.
