Missing Rebecca Reusch – presenter confronts family in TV documentary
In the TV documentary, both the parents of the missing student and her two sisters had spoken. They all firmly believe that Rebecca, who was then 15 years old, could still be alive – possibly kidnapped or held against her will. In the TV documentary, the student’s mother explained why she was so shocked by her daughter’s mug shot.
The girl’s brother-in-law was already considered suspect in 2019, and an untruth could be proven in the interrogation of the young man. Missing Rebecca Reusch: RTL presenter Nazan Eckes does not understand the brother-in-law’s reaction
But although investigators still assume that the brother-in-law may be guilty and suspect that Rebecca could not have left the house of her older sister and brother-in-law alive, the family is convinced of his innocence. Some of the family’s reactions to questions about Rebecca’s brother-in-law were not easy for the presenter Nazan Eckes to understand – she expressed incomprehension. “As soon as I spoke to father, mother or Vivien about Florian, they all closed. They were all very controlled. You immediately noticed that there had been agreements beforehand. So you thought: ‘What do I want to say? What do I not want to say? ‘ When I asked one of the three about the ominous trips to Poland, everything is very vague. Nobody can really say anything about it, even though there are records, ”said Eckes in the TV documentary.
Rebecca Reusch still missing – can the crime still be solved?
As the TV station explains in the documentary, the girl’s brother-in-law did not want to express himself in the TV special. A decision that moderator Nazan Eckes cannot understand. “I do not understand. If he’s innocent, why doesn’t he speak? But of course I also think it would be a great opportunity for him to prove his innocence. Because if I have nothing to fear and if I am really innocent, then I radiate that too. And dare to go out and, above all, at some point I feel the need to talk, ”the moderator continues.
But it is clear that the presumption of innocence continues to apply to Rebecca Reusch’s brother-in-law. If this Crime against Rebecca Reusch can ever be cleared up remains unclear.
