The horse “Mishrad Time” led a double for Godolphin in the first class Manhattan Stakes race at Saratoga Racecourse in the United States of America, while his companion “Nation’s Pride” occupied second place. Jockey William Buick succeeded in driving the four-year-old horse that won the Jebel Hatta race at Meydan Racecourse last January, to achieve The title of the race that extended for 1900 meters despite its late start.
As for the runner-up, “Nations Pride”, he pushed strongly and succeeded in advancing in the final stages, led by Frankie Dettori, completing Godolphin’s trainer, Charlie Appleby, in first and second places in the race.
Knight William Buick said: “Mishrad Time still has some things to learn and his maturity is not yet complete. I liked his exit from an outside gate, where he found himself the opportunity to advance at his own pace and take a front position. He is a stubborn horse who is good at running with full force.”
He added: “He struggled a little at the last turn, when he deviated into the middle of the track, but he ran strongly towards the finish line. He is a very exciting horse for the future.”
