The new director replaces Juan Giménez and will assume commercial and internal management responsibilities in the futsal team
Miriam Muñoz assumes from this Wednesday the management of the Cartagena futsal team, the Jimbee. This 42-year-old from Alicante replaces Juan Giménez, right-hand man of President Miguel Ángel Jiménez Bosque until a couple of months ago. The organization chart is thus completed with this new director, who has thirteen years of experience in the business sector. Her work will be internal and commercial management, among others, to expand the number of sponsors and club agreements.
The new manager of Jimbee Cartagena attended her first act this Wednesday, in the presentation of the Brazilian player Fernando Drasler at the Virgen de la Caridad medical center. Muñoz was accompanied by the president, Miguel Ángel Jiménez Bosque; the vice president, his brother Sergio; the secretary, Mari Carmen Gómez, wife of the president; the technical secretary, Roberto Sánchez and the press officer, Sonia Campillo. Coach Duda also attended, who also has full sports powers as general manager.
The club has a budget of almost two million euros this season. A quarter of it is covered by 72 sponsors, who to a greater or lesser extent support the futsal team. Jimbee returns to competition this Saturday (Palacio de Deportes, 12:00) against Burela. The team, eliminated from the Copa del Rey and the Copa de España, is fourth in the League. He has a game pending and aspires to finish the championship behind Barcelona and try to do well in the playoffs for the title.
