The president of the Region of Murcia is committed to “focusing on what is important”, in order to “continue to lead the polls” and combat the central government as “the only political alternative”
The president of the Region of Murcia, Fernando López Miras, once again defended the leadership of Pablo Casado at the head of the Popular Party and the work carried out by the general secretary, the Murcian Teodoro García Egea, while asking to “solve what as soon as possible” the situation.
For the regional baron of the PP, the “solution” to the open conflict within the PP goes through “unity” and “focusing on what is important”, in order to “continue to lead polls” and fight the central government as ” the only political alternative.
López Miras made these statements at the Divino Maestro school, in the capital of the Region, where he has attended, along with the Minister of Education, María Isabel Campuzano, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of this concerted educational center.
After affirming that he has spoken in recent days with Casado, but not with his Madrid counterpart, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, he appealed to the “unity to work on what the Spanish demand.” “They don’t want us to talk about our internal problems,” but about their policies, she said.
“We are the only alternative so that Sánchez does not continue to misgovern,” said López Miras, who did not comment on the position of the president of the PP in Galicia, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, nor about José Luis Martínez-Almeida, mayor of Madrid, regarding his request to stop being the party’s national spokesman.
