At dawn on Friday, January 22, the official Twitter account of Look furlan published a brief announcement confirming the death of the actress occurred, on January 20 at 65, after having achieved worldwide recognition for her role in Lost (2004).
“I look at the stars. The night is clear and the Milky Way seems very close. I’ll be leaving soon ”, reads the shared image, which turns out to be an extract from a dialogue interpreted by the actress through her character Delenn in Babylon 5 (1993).
“We are all star stuff. I’m not afraid. In the meantime, let me close my eyes and feel the beauty around me. And breathe under the dark sky full of stars. Inspire. Expires That’s it ”, he concludes.
For his part, the creator of the series, J. Michael Straczynski, also shared a text dedicated to the actress, whose cause of death has not yet been revealed.
“It is a night of great sadness. Our friend and partner has gone down the road where we cannot reach her. But as with everything, we will reach it in time, and I think it will have many stories to tell us and many new roles to share with the universe, “he wrote.
