The green one an old horse-drawn cart decorates the yard of the house in Lopella. It reminds Henry Hedman of his childhood, when he and his father went around in a horse-drawn carriage selling enamelware in houses. In the man’s memories, there are pleasant encounters with the “kaajets”, i.e. those who belong to the main population, but sometimes the little curly-headed gypsy boy had to experience racist treatment.
