Los Mochis, Sinaloa.- A minor was injured in a crash registered this morning at Comonfort corner with Ninos Heroes in the Anáhuac neighborhood of the city of Los Mochis.
The units that were involved in the traffic mishap are a white Toyota Avalon and an Aveo. It transpired that the minor is in stable health.
The information that was generated shows that at 07:45 hours the Avalon car was driven by a woman, from south to north by Ninos Heroes. However, upon reaching the corner with the Comonfort, the lady turned to the east and the Aveo was coming right in front of her and the blow was spectacularly unavoidable.
After the collision, the Aveo sedan bounced and the minor who was a passenger in the Aveo was injured.
Witnesses called the 911 emergency service to send an ambulance; paramedics later arrived who treated the minor and transferred him to a hospital to receive specialized medical attention.
For their part, traffic agents went to the scene to collect data on the mishap. There they confirmed that the driver of the Avalon car did not turn with the preventive measures and caused the accident.
Subsequently, the units were pushed so that they were not blocking the passage of road traffic.
