The Minister of Regional Development, Rogério Marinho, underwent surgery and is hospitalized in Teixeira de Freitas, in the extreme south of Bahia. Yesterday (16), Marinho had a malaise and had to undergo surgery to insert a stent, a sort of “mesh” made of metal that is used to restore blood flow in the artery.
Marinho posted a message on a social network informing him that he felt the discomfort on Friday, when he was traveling to Porto Seguro, also in southern Bahia, where he spends vacations with his family. In the message, he said he is fine and that he expects to be discharged in the next few hours.
Friends, I had a bad feeling last night when I arrived in Porto Seguro-BA for a family vacation. I did tests and was diagnosed with an arterial obstruction. At dawn, I underwent an angioplasty for stent placement. I’m fine and I hope to be discharged in the next few hours.
