Images of the new BMW G 310 RR reach us via BMW India.
Through India? Yep, and not without reason, because the Indian TVS is responsible for the entire G 310 series of the Germans. The entry-level models that we already know are the G 310 R and the G 310 GS, say the naked and the allroad, and now a mini-supersport has joined the Indian branch of the BMW family.
Incidentally, this one had been coming for a while, after all, there is already a TVS Apache RR310 driving around in India… Indeed, the machine on which this ‘BMW’ is based. Anyway, what we know is that the liquid-cooled single cylinder is good for 25 hp @ 9,250 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 7,700 rpm.
Furthermore, four driving modes are in line with the Track, Urban, Sport and Rain modes, as well as a slipper clutch. Especially the latter has a real added value with a single burner. The dashboard is clearly grown-up level, with a 5” TFT display. Still neat. BMW does not want to reveal anything about price and delivery in the Low Countries at the moment. As an indication: the current G 310 series fluctuates around 6,000 euros in Belgium and around 7,000 euros in the Netherlands.
