World premiere debut in China for the Mini Aceman, the third electric model from the English car manufacturer. The five-seater crossover on tap represents the heir to the Clubman, positioning itself in the range between Mini Cooper and Countryman and represents a B-segment SUV ready to enter a very competitive market segment.
Size and design
The new Mini Aceman is 4.07 meters long and has a width of 1.75 meters while the height is 1.50 meters. It boasts a distinctive front end and an athletic stance, with short overhangs and the “Clever Use of Space” design language defining its distinctive character. The linear surfaces bring the expressive and elegant colors of the bodywork to the fore. The versatile and adventurous character of the Mini Aceman is emphasized by the standard roof bars, the wheels with dimensions from 17″ to 19″ and the matt black Black Band that frames the front, rear and sides of the vehicle. The grille surround of the Mini Aceman extends to the solid Black Band of the front apron. In the new finish, in Vibrant Silver or glossy Jet Black depending on the version chosen, the front grille creates highly contrasting accents, helping to make the crossover model immediately identifiable. With their innovative design, the car's angular LED headlights also underline the distinctive position of the MINI Aceman within the Mini model family. Their shape is perpetuated in the clarity of the bonnet design with its precise lines, which gives the front of the vehicle its distinctive character. The daytime running light elements of the LED headlights can be customized in three different modes (optional), underlining the expressive character of the new member of the Mini family. The trunk boasts a capacity of 300 liters, which can become 1,050 liters if the rear seats are folded down.
The interiors of Mini Aceman
The new MINI design style “Charismatic Simplicity” is expressed particularly clearly in the interior. The dashboard features the new central OLED display with the remodeled control bar. Spacious door interiors, comfortable shoulder area dimensions and comfortable legroom give the bright cabin an open, generously proportioned feel, while the optional panoramic glass roof enhances this effect by providing additional light from 'high. In the dark, ambient lighting along the roof frame creates the selected light atmosphere in the passenger compartment. The independent door handles and speaker covers in the new Vibrant Silver finish are aligned diagonally and create an attractive contrast to the horizontal design of the front area of the passenger compartment. The innovative Mini Operating System 9 allows you to manage all driving functions intuitively with touch or voice. Engine and autonomy
Mini Aceman is available exclusively with a fully electric propulsion and will be offered in Aceman E and SE versions. The first boasts an electric motor with 135 kW/184 HP and a torque of 290 Nm, with the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h taking 7.9 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of 160 km/h. The Mini Aceman SE, on the other hand, has a power of 160 kW/218 HP and a torque of 330 Nm, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 170 km/h. The Mini Aceman E boasts a 42.5 kWh battery for a range of 310 km while the SE features a 54.2 kWh battery for a travel range of 406 km on a single charge.
