In 2020 Mycroclean Italia, a leading company in particle decontamination, managed to invoice 400% more than in 2019, thanks to an entirely female team. “The fundamental values on which I base my choices are innovation and environmental protection: without both there is no future. I take this into account in everything I do. For example, 500,000 people have purchased our masks, which can be washed up to 500 times, and it is thanks to this choice that each of them has helped to save 730 tons of waste in 2020 ”.
The 2021 was a year of important investments for Mycroclean Italia: two departments were opened in which to develop new products, a wing of the shed equipped with cutting-edge technologies was inaugurated, new staff was hired. “In our company, a team of women only designs and manufactures innovative eco-sustainable products – says Milena Baroni – we have to give 200% every day, in a sector that is predominantly male. But we are close-knit, we believe in what we do, we look ahead and we always set ourselves new challenges ”. The GammaDonna Award – Since 2004, the GammaDonna Award has been enhancing the innovative female entrepreneurial initiative, with the aim of contributing to reducing the gender gap in the socio-economic field through virtuous business examples.
Milena Baroni is among the six finalists of the 13th edition.
