Milan transfer market, Maxence Lacroix hit for the summer
Milan, after the return of Matteo Gabbia from loan, did not make any defensive moves in the January transfer window, trusting in the return of Malik Thiaw (in a couple of weeks) and subsequently Pierre Kalulu and Fikayo Tomori. In the summer we will be looking for a shot to strengthen the back pack, even more so if Kjaer were to say goodbye to Milanello. And the name of Maxence Lacroix appears, Wolfsburg's 2000-born centre-back from 2020 (expiring in 2025 which could lower his price), the year in which he arrived from Sochaux: 117 appearances and 4 goals with the German team. According to the Gazzetta, the Rossoneri had already tested the waters in January but it is in the summer that they could think about the decisive assault.
Milan and Puma reveal fourth kit in Milan and Los Angeles
“Puma and AC Milan are proud to unveil the Rossoneri's Fourth Kit for the 2023/24 season, created in collaboration with the innovative Los Angeles streetwear brand, Pleasures. The new kit features two versions that blend punk, metal and grunge of the streetwear brand from Los Angeles with the beauty of the gothic architecture of Milan”. The company and club wrote this in a note.
“The collaboration between AC Milan and Pleasures combines street-smart with match-ready: the kit is available in two contrasting colourways, symbolizing the transition from dusk to dawn (black and pristine), allowing fans to embody the spirit of AC Milan from day to night and across all continents, from Milan to Los Angeles. With a reference to the ever-evolving Milanese lifestyle, the design of the kit represents the most iconic moments of the city's day – sunset and sunrise and is encapsulated in the concept of the Fourth Kit campaign, Out of the Shadows. The colorways not only represent the different moments of the day in Milan, but are also connected to the global fanbase, embracing the Rossoneri lifestyle everywhere. Adding a further element of innovation, both versions of the Fourth Kit feature reflective logos, a first for AC Milan. The iterations of the kit were revealed yesterday in Milan during an exclusive event in collaboration with Slam Jam, during which AC Milan players, VIPs and media had the opportunity to see the jerseys for the first time. At the same time, the kits were also revealed in Los Angeles through guerrilla posting.”
“For the first time in the history of the Club, the two versions of the Fourth Kit will be used in separate matches. In the home match against Napoli, on 11 February, the players will wear the black version, while the goalkeeper will show off the pristine version, creating a visual contrast on the pitch. In the away match against Monza on February 18, this dynamic will be reversed. The ground-breaking design and innovative concept also extends to the Milan women's team, who will proudly wear the Fourth Kit in the derby against Inter on 17 February”.
Olivier Giroud, AC Milan striker and Puma ambassador, commented on the new Fourth Kit: “I'm thrilled to wear this beautiful kit on the pitch. It's unlike anything I've seen before, with two versions that can be used by both the goalkeeper and the players players. This demonstrates the creativity and innovation of PUMA, AC Milan and PLEASURES, who have created a kit with cutting-edge design and a striking concept that truly captures the essence of AC Milan's legacy and ambition.”
