On FIFA 22, the Derby della Madonnina has a favorite, albeit a very small one. Kjaer and Skriniar the best of the two-eleven, will it really determine the defense?
The derby between Milan and Inter matchday 12 is more open than ever, and defining a favorite is really tricky. A video game like FIFA 22, however, relies on rather solid data that helps to understand who is the stronger of the two teams. Therefore, based on the probable formations filtered in the pre-game, it is possible to try to understand something more about the chances of victory of one and the other.
Here Milan –
Milan shows up with a team remodeled due to the disqualification of Theo Hernandez (rated 84) and the long-term injury of Mike Maignan (84). Tatarusanu (76), Calabria (79), Kjaer (84), Tomori (80) and Ballo-Touré (72), among the defenders. In midfield, the two midfielders should be Tonali (78) and Kessie (84), while behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic (83) there should be Saelemaekers (77), Brahim Diaz (78) and the highly confirmed Leao (77). Ready to take over Bennacer (80), Rebic (82), Krunic (75) and Giroud (79).
Here Inter –
Inzaghi will have all the staff at his disposal and should present himself with the typical line-up at the biggest appointment of this first part of the season. Between the posts, therefore, Handanovic (85) and three-way defense with Skriniar (86), De Vrij (85) and Bastoni (80). Darmian and Perisic on the outside of the five-man midfield (78 and 81), while the three central ones are Barella (84), Brozovic (84) and Calhanoglu (82). In front, Lautaro Martinez (85) is ready to exploit the banks of Edin Dzeko (84). Among the possible successors, Correa (81), Sanchez (79), Vidal (82) and Dumfries (82).
Milan derby, who wins? –
From a videogame point of view, Inter can count on more top players and an extremely deep squad, but on closer inspection the evaluations between the two probable formations are not too distant. Inter closed with 914 points with four stars and half out of five among the very titular, and average scores divided as follows between the individual departments: Attack 82, Midfield 81, Defense 83, Total 82. Milan stops at 868 cumulative points among the eleven of the derby, with four and a half stars, and these average scores: Attack 79, Midfield 79, Defense 81, Total 80. Despite the absences and the prediction of Pioli (“Whoever defends better will win”, with the defense that rewards the Nerazzurri on FIFA), the values expressed by the two teams are very close and the game should be decidedly open.
