What began as the arrest of an alleged feminicide in the case of María José, a 17-year-old student sexually assaulted and murdered inside her apartment, now releases new information about the life story of Miguel “N”, a possible serial feminicide in Iztacalco, Mexico City.
The profile of the alleged serial killer who graduated as a chemist from the IPN and worked in a hospital reveals a dark background marked by traumas and tragedies when he was younger, according to what was unearthed from his personal diaries.
Miguel “N”, the individual recently linked to legal proceedings for feminicide and attempted feminicide against María José and her mother, Cassandra, unfolds a disturbing narrative of his acts of extreme violence against women.
Among the most disturbing leaks is a poem titled “I will miss you,” allegedly written by Miguel “N” on his Facebook account, six months after the disappearance of Frida Sofía Lima Rivera, a 22-year-old girl with whom it is speculated he had a relationship and would be one of his first victims.
In this text, the accused describes how he ended the life of a woman whom he claimed to love deeply, choosing to preserve her lifeless body.
Did Miguel 'N' suffer sexual abuse from his father? This is known
No less chilling is the story in one of his diaries, where Miguel “N” confesses to having been a victim of sexual abuse by his own fathera trauma that, according to the unofficial version of journalist Antonio Nieto, could have influenced his misanthropy and his hatred towards women.
Nieto, who had access to one of the now detainee's notebooks that were inside his apartment, points out that the 'hatred of women' or 'extreme viciousness' could be attributed in part to the fact that both his mother and sister would have “consented” to the abuse perpetrated by his father.
The mystery surrounding the figure of Miguel N's father adds to the dark narrative, since little is known about him, who died in 2021 due to Covid-19.
Furthermore, additional revelations in the diaries suggest an evolution in his crimes, as evidenced by a text dated 2012 where he boasts of having “perfected” his murders, declaring himself “more sure of himself.”
The Attorney General's Office of Mexico City (FGJ-CDMX) has not provided information that confirms this official version, but continues with the investigation that links Miguel “N” with between 7 and up to 20 deaths of women in the capital of the country.
