The Colombian scored a double that ended up helping Boca Juniors to be crowned champion.

Boca Juniors Argentine soccer champion was crowned this Sunday, after drawing 2-2 against Independiente in La Bombonera. But to do so, he received the ‘help’ of his great rival, River Plate.

Boca reached the last date with a point advantage over Racing, which closed against River. However, both Independiente, the Academy’s great rival, and Marcelo Gallardo’s team showed signs of fair play.

The matches were hotly contested and Boca did not go beyond a draw against Independiente at their stadium (2-2). For its part, Racing could not beat River and ended up losing 2-1, in a game in which goalkeeper Franco Armani saved a penalty.

But the one who turned out to be a great protagonist was the Colombian Miguel Ángel Borja, who scored a double for River’s victory, a result that ended up giving Boca the title.

The insults of a supporter rapporteur to Borja

Although coach Gallardo highlighted the fact that his team has gone to the front and many River fans, despite the pain of seeing Boca champion, also recognized it, others were not so happy about what happened.

A video went viral on social networks in which a narration in support of River is heard, in which the rapporteur ends up very angry with the Colombian.

Despite the fact that he has scored 9 goals in 18 games since he arrived at River, Borja has received some criticism for his performance and what happened in the match against Racing has generated divided opinions.
