The training and job placement project in the healthcare sector by Generali and The Human Safety Net “aims to offer new possibilities for help in the healthcare field, at the same time as the ability to offer an important hand to refugees, who perhaps arrive in Italy with skills superior to those we imagine and which, however, if they do not have a place where they can exercise or improve them, end up at best doing ‘odd jobs’ and at worst in the field of crime”. The President of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, said this in his speech at the press conference presenting the project dedicated to refugees and migrants, promoted by the Generali Group Foundation.
The project “marks a desire for legality also in helping those who arrive in Italy in actual need of fleeing their lands for well-known reasons, such as wars or epidemics”, underlines La Russa.
