Midfielder Adri León, 31, is leaving UCAM CF for good. The Azulona entity did not have him for this season and, after several weeks of tug of war, yesterday it was learned that the contract that united both parties was terminated. He only played 14 games, ten of them as a starter, during the past season, due to different physical discomforts that prevented him from being at his best level.
In this way, José María Salmerón, who a year ago had requested his signing, has not made a gap for him this year in the UCAM CF squad that cannot be distracted one iota in the season of its premiere in 1st RFEF. Adri León arrived in Murcia last summer from Lleida. He had previously played for Villanovense, Tropezón, Avilés, Logroñés, Pontevedra, Laredo, Racing B, Escobedo and Reocín.
The Santander milieu already has a new destination: he will play next season at CF La Nucía, in 2nd RFEF. In the Alicante team he will coincide with Moisés García (ex from Cartagena) and Zazo (ex from Lorca). His coach will be the veteran César Ferrando.
