Middle East | Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon killed children

Nine a civilian has been killed in airstrikes carried out by Israel in the southern parts of Lebanon on Wednesday. Four children are among the dead.

A Lebanese security source told the news agency AFP and Reuters about it.

According to the media, the attacks hit villages in southern Lebanon. In the village of Al-Sawana, a mother and her two children died as a result of the attacks. In the village of Nabatieh, the blow hit a building. Two children, three women and a man, were killed. Several people were taken to the hospital as a result of the attack.

The Israeli army and Hezbollah have been in armed conflict on Israel's northern border since last fall, when the extremist organization Hamas launched an attack on Israel.
