Middle East Hundreds of protesters demand President Abbas’s resignation in the West Bank, backed by the death of a Palestinian activist

Banat’s death on June 24 sparked protests in the West Bank and sparked international criticism. An autopsy revealed that Banatia had been beaten on the head, chest, neck, legs and hands.
