Microsoft has launched Project Amplify for Xbox, a program designed to help young people of color who want to work in the gaming industry.
The Redmond company then launches a social care initiative, which starts from the results of the survey conducted by National Historically Black Colleges and Universities, according to which 99% of the people interviewed would be in favor of pursuing a career in gaming.
On balance, however, only a small percentage of black people work in the industry, and it is from this that Microsoft has taken inspiration to be able to give life to its project which consists of a series of informative videos, full of life stories, tips and advice from black developers aimed at young people who want to try their hand at their own work.
Thanks to the collaboration signed with 2022 Revolt Summit x AT&T, it will be possible to hold panels and opportunities for meeting students starting today, so as to make a first meeting between the world of work and the student world take place.
