The controller for Microsoft Flight Simulator will arrive by Christmas.
Microsoft Flight Simulator it’s a hit, but, until now, fans were very limited in the controllers they could play on consoles. This will change later this year as the manufacturer Thrustmaster announced that its new controller TCA Yoke Boeing Edition is available for pre-order.
The controller should arrive by December 23, which means Xbox players should be able to play it before Christmas.
TCA Yoke Boeing Edition is a one-to-one replica of the control post of a Boeing 787. Where other devices rely on a stainless steel shaft in the dashboard, this device swings back and forth on a pin to control the aircraft’s pitch. just like a Boeing plane does. It’s also coded with the necessary Xbox buttons, which should make it easier to learn how to use it on consoles. There is also a built-in 3.5mm audio jack.
Thrustmaster has gone further by creating the controls needed to fly even the largest airliners in Flight Simulator, with independent control of all four engines.
All of this comes at a rather high price, however. The TCA Boeing Edition will cost $ 499.99. Pre-orders are already open with distribution scheduled for Christmas. An additional throttle dial will cost $ 149.99. The controller (yoke) alone (which also includes sliders to act as an accelerator) will cost $ 399.99 and won’t be in pre-order until early 2022.
