The new edition will bring back some of the most beloved planes in the franchise.
Microsoft Flight Simulator turns no less than 40 years old in November of this year and it does so with more players than ever enjoying the incredible realism of its flights and the detail of its aircraft. The 40th Anniversary Edition will be free for everyone who owns the base game or plays through Xbox Game Pass.
The game will pay tribute to our past with the introduction of highly anticipated new models. “The nod to the past will reintroduce some classic airports and several of the most famous planes from previous versions, including Microsoft Flight Simulator X and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004: A Century of Flight,” Microsoft has confirmed since xboxwire.
Helicopters are also coming to the simulator, but they won’t be the only surprise: Halo fans can already enjoy the most realistic flights of the Pelican from Halo Inifinite. Microsoft Flight Simulator is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and mobile via Xbox Cloud Gaming.
